Wilmer Hall Childrenโ€™s Home seeks a full-time House Parent for its Transitional Family Program, providing supervision for young women ages 18-24, as well as their babies and small children. The Transitional Family Program serves women with children who need a safe, secure, and enriching environment. The program goal is to help each woman acquire skills and tools to become a successful head of house with a sense purpose and accomplishment.

The House Parent will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, nurturing, and safety of the young people here, as well as transportation to work, school, and other appointments. The House Parent reports directly to the Program Director and will work a four day on, four day off schedule. When on duty, the House Parent will reside overnight in a residential cottage on Wilmer Hallโ€™s campus that is occupied by the young families. This is a full-time position with full benefits. Applicants are required to possess a valid license, a clean driving record, and possess a high school diploma or GED. They must also pass a background check and a drug test. Wilmer Hall is a tobacco and alcohol-free campus. Wilmer Hall Children's Home is a non-profit faith-based organization that has been serving young people in need in Mobile, Alabama since 1864. Wilmer Hall serves children and young adults through several programs that provide tutoring, on-campus living, and other tools needed to succeed. Interested?
