Pratt Paterson has joined the Wilmer Hall staff as Director of Development and Community Relations, according to Executive Director Sally Greene. His responsibilities will include managing fundraising, communications and community relations efforts for Wilmer Hall. Paterson comes to Wilmer Hall from St. Maryโs Sewanee, an Episcopal retreat center in Sewanee, Tennessee, where he served as Director of Advancement. โWe are very excited to have Pratt join our staff at Wilmer Hall. His past work experience and development background will bring a great deal of knowledge and expertise to our fundraising efforts. In addition, his keen communication skills will enhance our community relations as we strive to continue and sustain our mission of caring for children and young adults in need,โ said Greene.
Pratt has also served as Assistant Director of Development at St. Andrewโs Sewanee School and was the Director of Camp Gailor-Maxon, an Episcopal summer camp in the Diocese of Tennessee. In the Sewanee community, Pratt has served as president of the boards of the Sewanee Civic Association and the Sewanee Childrenโs Center. He has also served on the vestry and rector search committee for Otey Memorial Parish. Pratt is a volunteer firefighter and EMT, as well.
Pratt is a graduate of the University of Alabama and UMS-Wright Preparatory School. At Alabama, he was a member of Jasons Senior Honor Society and Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He is married to the former Allison Baker, who is a school teacher. They have twin 11-year-olds, Edie and McKee. The Patersons will live on the Wilmer Hall campus in the newly renovated Moorer House.
